Weekly Update

Dear Families of Room 26,

It’s hard to believe that we’re down to the last week of school. It’s been an absolute pleasure and honor to teach and grow alongside your children this year. They’ve all worked so hard and deserve the summer break ahead. That being said, we have a busy week in front of us!

  • Yearbooks will be distributed this afternoon to go home today. If students would like to bring them back to school tomorrow to be signed by classmates, they’re welcome to do so. If you have purchased a yearbook and would like one, there will be a limited amount on sale in the office starting on Wednesday for $30 each.
  • Tomorrow is field day! We will have pizza for lunch at school before departing for Hauke Park. Students should also bring a hearty snack to go along with the pizza. Students should wear comfortable shoes as we will be walking to the park and participating in several field day activities. Students will also be encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle for the afternoon at the park. Thank you for those of you who have volunteered to join us and/or contribute to our celebration!
  • On Wednesday, there is an ice cream social at dismissal, hosted by Woody’s.Our last day of school is Thursday, with dismissal at 12:40.

Please have your child bring a brown paper bag or a reusable bag by tomorrow morning so that we can clean out our desks and send home any remaining work.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you very much!
