Dear Room 23 Families,
Today we began spelling and grammar lessons. Students will be given a new spelling
list weekly along with time to study their words in class every day. There will
be a spelling test every Friday. Spelling words are posted on the home page of
the class blog and will be updated weekly. Your child may decide to practice
the spelling words at home as needed. We will also work on a weekly grammar
packet in class.
Important reminders:
1. Chorus begins tomorrow. Thank
you for turning in your permission slips. Students are very excited to be part
of this opportunity!
2. In
today’s green folder, you will find a field
trip packet. Please complete and return the forms by this Friday, September
14.
3. I
look forward to seeing you all at Back
to School Night on Thursday of this week. We’ll be in the classroom from
6:00-6:45 following our Principal’s presentation in the multipurpose room from
5:30-5:50.
